Who is Eligible:
Our competitions are open to all artists over 16 years old.

Media:
All media including, but not limited to, acrylic/oil, mixed media, pastel, colored pencil, graphics, sculptures, watercolor media, collage and other layered media. No video, craft or functional art.

To apply for our exhibitions, please prepare a brief bio or artist statement, images of your artwork (72 dpi) and fill out the Registration Form in the right column. If you experience any difficulties with the submission process, please send us an e-mail.

The Smaller The Better
One Day Art Show at Very Venice Gallery on First Friday on Abbot Kinney, June 1, 2012, 6 - 10 pm. The deadline for submissions is May 1, 2012

The Art of Now
Juried online competition. We invite artists to share with us their best artworks created in the timeless zone - "The Art of Now". The deadline for submissions is Friday, July 20, 2012.

Fees:
Competitions: $25 for up to 3 images, $5 for each additional image. Limit 5 entries per person. *50% discount for students with a valid student ID.

Online Sales Gallery
For those artists who want to sell their art online to an international community of art buyers. You can submit up to 5 images and your artwork will be on display and for sale for 1 year.

Represented Artist
You can submit up to 9 images to be considered as one of our represented artist and participate in our brick and mortar exhibitions.

Upload your Images

After submitting the Registration Form (step 1 on the right side of the screen) log in with your User Name and Password to upload your images. Please, prepare your images for uploading in advance. Below are the instructions how to do it properly:

• The resolution of each image must be 72 dpi and not exceed the width of 1800 pixels and the height of 1400 pixels

• All images must be in jpeg format. The size of the image file must not exceed 1600 kB

Juried Online Music Competition "Rediscovery of Wonder" is open for submissions. Rediscovery of Wonder reflects the sense of wonder and exuberance that children naturally possess and enables artists and musicians to create their best works. What inspires your imagination and ignites your creative fire?

Larkgallery Online invites musicians and composers from different corners of the world to visit our online exhibitions and show their talents by giving art the voice and sound.

How to enter:
1. Browse through the art at larkgalleryonline.com, "Rediscovery of Wonder ","Hidden Treasures", "Reaching Inside" and "Colors of Life" (for which artists are still submitting their art)
2. Choose a piece of art that evokes your musical response
3. Upload your composition or performance in MP3 format (Step 3 on the right side of the screen)

Our jurors will listen and if you pass the first cut, your music will be visually imbedded online under the painting, collage, sculpture or photo-art that inspires you.

Competitions $30 for up 3 files of your performances or compositions.

Represented Musicians
You can submit up to 6 music pieces to be considered as one of our represented musician and participate in our brick and mortar events.

$150 one time fee (ask for a financial plan). $25 annual renewal fee.

Please observe the sound file requirements:

• The duration of each file must not exceed five minutes
• All sound files must be in mp3 format and have the extension "mp3" ("name of composition".mp3)
• The size of the sound file must not exceed 6 MB
• As the uploaded file will be processed for web use a bit rate of 128 kb/sec is sufficient.
